Warranty

All MIHAILIUC accessories are handcrafted using traditional artisan techniques and premium materials.

The warranty is our assurance of the quality of MIHAILIUC products and applies to any item purchased through www.mihailiuc.ro.

Buyers' rights are protected in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance OG 140/2021 on the sale of goods and associated warranties, Law 296/2004 (republished 2008) regarding the Consumer Code, Ordinance No. 21/1992 (updated 2008) on consumer protection, and Order No. 72/11.03.2010 on measures for informing consumers. Please keep the original sales receipt received at purchase for any quality claims that may be made during the warranty period.

The warranty period is 30 days from the date the product is delivered. During this time, shipping costs and repairs will be covered by the manufacturer. For issues that arise later, up to a maximum of one year from purchase, shipping costs to have the product repaired will be the customer's responsibility; we will be happy to perform the repair.

The warranty service will be provided within no more than 15 calendar days from the date of notification.

Failure to present the original sales receipt will void the warranty.

CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THE WARRANTY BECOMES VOID OR INAPPLICABLE:

• Normal wear and tear, including natural aging and aesthetic deterioration of the product;
• Discoloration of the product or any of its components after prolonged exposure to harsh environmental factors (sunlight or other strong heat sources, humidity, rain, snow, etc.);
• Damage resulting from natural disasters (fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, etc.), consequential or accidental damage, burning, or theft;
• Defects caused by improper transportation, handling, or storage (excessive temperature or humidity, thermal shock—hot/cold variations, immersion, etc.);
• Defects caused by improper, abusive, incorrect, or modified use of the product and/or use under conditions other than those for which it was tested and designed;
• Intervention, repair, or modification carried out by unauthorized persons, including repainting the product;
• Damage caused, voluntarily or involuntarily, by mechanical shocks (tearing, snagging, impact, scratching, etc.), pets, rodents, and other pests;
• Poor maintenance (cleaning using inappropriate methods or products).
